Pastor - Rev. Matthew Cottrill
After graduating from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 2010, he began working as a police officer and police chaplain. He resigned as a full-time officer in 2016 in order to more fully serve the ministry.
Bro. Cottrill was ordained in 2006 and has served in various capacities within the Indiana District and local churches as a sectional youth director, assistant pastor, promotional director, and youth pastor. He, along with his wife and three children also pastored for several years in Michigan City, IN before returning to Bourbon.
Brandie Cottrill was also raised in ministry and felt the Lord leading her to pastoral ministry at a young age. She has served in various capacities over the years as a Sunday school teacher, ladies ministries director, youth leader and Sunday school director.
Pastor & Sis Cottrill along with their three children love the Bourbon community and its people. They are devoted to giving of themselves so that our community can flourish.
Bishop - Rev. Mark Cottrill
Bishop Cottrill has been involved in teaching Bible studies and youth leadership since he was 13 yrs. old. Sis. Cottrill has been teaching Sunday School since she was 13. They met at Apostolic Bible Institute, St. Paul, MN, where they both served as class officers, and both receiving their Bachelors of Theology degrees in Apostolic Studies. Having married in June of 1975 and after graduating in April of 1976, they moved to Bourbon, IN to be the assistant pastor, youth leaders and teen class teachers for 4 years. Bishop Cottrill pastored in Bourbon from 1985 until he retired December 31st 2018.
